I’ve watched clients get nominated to the Inc. Female Founders 500 list over the years, and I’m thrilled that the editors agree that what I’ve built deserves a place among this year’s honorees.

We’ve built an incredible team at Great Scott, our family-operated, Denver-based performance PR and affiliate marketing shop, and together our focus and determination have made it possible for us to grow and thrive.

I started the company as JLS PR 12 years ago in my small apartment in Denver with a few clients and a lot of trust. After years of learning, testing, and growing, we’ve scaled into a dynamic agency that serves two dozen independent consumer goods brands. This year, we introduced a new name, Great Scott, and website to better reflect the greater role family has played in shaping our success.

The Inc. Female Founders 500 annual list, according to the magazine, honors the most dynamic women business leaders in the United States. The 2026 Female Founders honorees collectively generated about $12.3 billion in 2025 revenue and $12.2 billion in funding to date, underscoring the economic impact of women-led businesses across sectors.

Each year, Inc. editors evaluate applications through a rigorous, multi-round selection process. Founders are assessed on quantitative performance metrics, including revenue growth, funding, sales, and audience size, as well as qualitative factors such as innovation, social impact, and brand momentum.

The final list, Inc. says, represents entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and measurable progress over the past year.
